For me, the season is practically over. I'm 60 miles short of a 2k goal for the year so I'll finish that up in the next week and put the bike away then flip over to cross training. That being said, I'm dabbling with the idea of an indoor training session\trainer. Do I go with the Trek's store suggestion of cycleOps-Zwift or go the peloton route? It appears to me that Zwift is more focused on "community rides" (sort of like what we have at CBBC but on an international level) and peloton seems to be focused on the "fitness center" cycling atmosphere in your home.

Hi Fred, My wife and I have been riding our Tandem on ZWIFT for the last 6 months. I feel that ZWIFT offering social rides are more enjoyable than riding a Peloton machine for "fitness center" classes. I major difference I see is that since ZWIFT is a social app, you can join a group any time of the day. And if there is no social group ride, you can always perform a training ride or "just" ride. We are using a Kinetic Road Machine Smart Bike trainer. I had a larger budget, I would have purchased a Smart Control trainer that adjusts the resistance based on the terrain. I hope this helps.

Thanks Edmond.
that's kind of how I viewed the difference, I'm glad you replied from a "Current user" standpoint. So do you guys do it as a Pair? that's pretty cool.
thanks again,
fred K
